St Albans District was the street party capital of Hertfordshire in 2019, with over thirty streets having a party! 2022 is set to be a great street party year with streets coming again together post-pandemic and with the Queen’s Jubilee long weekend in June. However, in St Albans District, the local Playing Out scheme allows you to apply up to 8 more times a year for short closures for the purpose of play and community building.
